We build. We measure. We decorate. We carry tables and chairs outside. We put time, effort, and love into creating a beautiful place where we can gather with family and friends.
For seven days, we leave the comfort of houses and apartments to spend time outside in the sukkah.
The sukkah reminds us that a home is more than four walls. It is a place where people gather and meals are shared. A place where we welcome others and where people can feel safe, cared for, and part of a community.
This Sukkot, we are thinking about another home.
For hundreds of people in our community, the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry has become a place they can count on. Every week, families, seniors, individuals, and people experiencing homelessness walk through our doors to receive groceries and meals. It is a place where people know they will be welcomed and where they can find help when they need it.
But right now, our home isn’t truly ours.
We have an opportunity to change that.
The Arizona Kosher Food Pantry is raising $1,000,000 to purchase the building that currently houses the pantry.
