For six years, 7118 North 7th Street has been home to the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry. Now the building is for sale, and we have a chance to make it our permanent home.

The building that has been our home for six years is going up for sale at the end of this year. The owners have offered to sell it to us before listing it publicly, which is a rare chance to secure a permanent home for the pantry.
This is where families come for kosher food, water, and other essentials, without judgment. It’s where our volunteers show up week after week, and where something that began as a small act of kindness has grown into a real lifeline for our community.
We want to say yes, but we need to move quickly.
Moving would mean higher costs and real disruption for the people who depend on us most.
Everything the pantry does starts from this building.
Each day, AZ Kosher Food Pantry distributes more than 1,000 pounds of food to help individuals and families stock up on essential staples.
In 2025, the pantry served more than 8,370 households, providing access to dry goods, pantry staples, and essential support.
Through weekly pantry visits and community support, AZ Kosher Food Pantry served more than 24,756 individuals in 2025.
We’re still in early negotiations, but if we can’t identify the funding, the building goes on the market in December.

Our current building is in the right neighborhood, at the right cost, with a kosher kitchen, food storage, office space, and room for our delivery truck. Finding a comparable space would be very difficult, and a move would mean higher costs and real disruption for the people who depend on us most.
We estimate we need $600,000 to purchase the building and $400,000 for a small endowment to fund future improvements, for a total of $1 million.
