As leaves turn brilliant shades of orange and fall across the East Coast, here in the Valley, the summer heat is finally beginning to loosen its grip. Sort of! Many of us have been able to give our air conditioners a well-deserved break over the past few nights as temperatures begin to dip. But while the weather is cooling down, one thing remains unchanged: the need for food never takes a season off.
Thanks to your generosity, the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry continues to help local families put food on their tables and meals in their stomachs. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every act of kindness helps ensure that our neighbors have access to the food they need.
With hearts full of gratitude, we move through the month reflecting on how far we’ve come and looking ahead to what still needs to be done. Now that the intensity of the High Holidays is behind us, our mission remains as important as ever.

A permanent home for the pantry means a stronger foundation for the future. Our parking lot has been paved and renovated, marking an important step forward in improving our facility. As the number of visitors continues to grow, we are working to make sure the pantry can continue meeting the needs of our community for years to come.
And, of course, the work doesn’t stop at our front door. Our trusty Ford F-250 continues making daily trips to St. Mary’s Food Bank to help keep our shelves stocked. Those trips are essential to our mission, but they also mean fuel costs add up quickly. Your support helps keep the wheels turning and food moving into the hands of those who need it most.
